OSCAR'S RED CARPET: HIT OR MISS?

Who wore it best at the Oscar's red carpet? We nominated the following stars who looked glamorous and those who didn't.

Giuliana Rancic looks stunning in a Tony Ward couture dress.  The detailing on the dress is beautiful and her dark red lipstick is a nice contrast to the dress.

Missi Pyle wore a cruelty-free silk gown by Valentina Delfino. The dress looks old Hollywood and the aquamarine color is amazing. Sadly, the hanging shoulder-piece and the drapery bottom makes the dress look droopy and unflattering.

Michelle Williams in an amazing Louis Vuitton peplum gown with a playfully silver bow accent and paired with a pink Bottega Veneta clutch. The two contrasting colors worked well with her complexion, giving her a fresh and glowing look.

Melissa Leo in a black and gold sequins Reem Acra gown with Jimmy Choo shoes. The gown didn't seem to fit well on her and the droopy black bow looks like it was added on as an afterthought, which makes it worst. The only thing that did look amazing on her was her Jimmy Choo heels.

Judy Geer is in a sleek Monique Lhuillier dress. This is my miss. Although it shows her curves, the top reminds me of an athletic top. Personally, I am not a fan of the silver/ black because it reminds me of a track suit.

This is my hit.  I have never seen Sarah Hyland in a purple dress before (or in her show, Modern Family).  The dress fits her; not too baggy or tight.  I like her hair with this style of dress. The dress is Alberta Ferretti.  She is wearing Casadei Shoes and Neil Lane Jewels.  Her makeup is done lightly giving her a natural effect, while the black eyeliner brings out her eyes.
